Story:


In the future, people race to get over the boredom of utopia.


Play mechanics:


Extreme-G is a racing game styled after Wipeout for the Playstation. Here's a summary of the Play Modes and Default Controls:

Play Mode Description
Extreme Contest Standard 1-player circuit racing.
Time Trial Drive solo and try for a new track record.
Practice Practice your skills against the competition on a specific track .
Shoot 'Em Up A 1-player mode in which the winning bike stops the most opponents with its artillery over three laps.
Head to Head (multi-player) Standard 2-4 player racing.
Cup Challenge (multi-player) You and up to 16 of your friends can hold an Extreme-G tournament.
Battle Arena (multi-player) 2-4 player deathmatch/seek-and-destroy action in one of several different arenas.
Flag (multi-player) 2-4 players compete to see who can nab the most flags scattered on the track over three laps.

Control Stick Steer
A Fire Primary Weapon.
B Brake.
Top C Change view.
Right C Fire Secondary Weapon.
Bottom C Nitro Boost.
Z Gas.
R Hold while turning to make a sharper turn.
Start Pause and bring up a menu with several different exit options.
